Project Brief
Kaleidoscope is an AI-driven infotainment platform focused on workplace inclusivity, diversity, and anonymous dialogue. Developed using Laravel and MySQL, this web-based system empowers individuals—especially employees across diverse organizations—to anonymously share real-life experiences where they felt uncomfortable, excluded, or marginalized.
By combining crowdsourced narratives with a GPT-powered language analysis engine, the platform educates users on inclusive communication, behavior, and workplace culture. It also provides HR departments and leadership teams with sentiment-based analytics and benchmark comparisons against national and global diversity standards.
The Challenge
Modern organizations strive to create inclusive, respectful, and equitable work environments. Yet, many employees struggle to speak out when faced with subtle or unintentional exclusion, fearing backlash or isolation.
The project identified a gap:
- Employees lacked a safe space to express their discomfort anonymously.
- Organizations had limited visibility into the inclusivity sentiment across departments.
- There was no scalable method for real-time language auditing and improvement.

Anonymous Story Sharing
Users can share their professional experiences—stories of discomfort, exclusion, or unconscious bias—completely anonymously. These stories are tagged by themes such as race, gender, culture, or geography and curated by moderators for platform-wide learning.
AI-Powered Language Sensitivity Engine
The platform features an OpenAI GPT-3.5 Turbo module trained to analyze user-submitted content (emails, chat logs, memos, etc.) in real time. It flags:
- Exclusive or insensitive phrases
- Microaggressions or stereotypical language
- Non-inclusive word patterns
It then suggests inclusive alternatives, helping users become more mindful and respectful communicators.
